Deviation Alert - American Empress: May 14, 2018 Voyage

Due to high water on the Columbia River, the American Empress will follow a modified itinerary for the May 14 voyage.

At American Queen Steamboat Company, we are committed to delivering the most memorable experience possible for our guests. An important part of our commitment is to deliver advanced communication when unforeseen circumstances arise that directly impact the experience in any way.

High water on the Columbia River is preventing the American Empress from docking in some of the originally planned ports. In our efforts to preserve your cruise enjoyment and deliver memorable experiences, we have worked to create the following modified itinerary for your time aboard the American Empress:

Day 2 – Tuesday, May 15
Astoria, OR

Day 3 – Wednesday, May 16
Stevenson, WA

Day 4 – Thursday, May 17
Stevenson, WA (formerly The Dalles, OR)

Day 5 – Friday, May 18
Umatilla, OR (formerly River Cruising)

Day 6 – Saturday, May 19
River Cruising (formerly Richland, WA)

Day 7 – Sunday, May 20
Clarkston, WA

Day 8 – Monday, May 21
Clarkston, WA

Although this is an unexpected circumstance outside of our control, the communication effort and thoughtfully modified itinerary reaffirm American Queen Steamboat Company’s mission to provide uniquely American experiences while focusing on the safety of our guests and crew. We thank you in advance for your understanding.
